My mother has had a daycare for 21 years, and I have seen babies do that all through out. Some even do it, when they are finally asleep: ) I think it`s cute, and yes, it`s very normal: )

I have had 3 babies and the all did it, i think they are just getting their breathing back to normal after crying, its nothing to worry about unless it continues, then it could also be trapped wind as they take alot of air in when they cry.

i think i know what you mean..and my son does it when he is SUPER upset not just crying...like histerical! and i remember i used to do it as a kid..its like they cant catch their breathe...if thats what you mean??
