It really will grow on you after time. I don`t especially love my son`s first name (he goes by his middle name)- but when you are pregnant you are super sensitive and (obviously) want everything to be perfect and feel right. That`s not how life works- a year from now you won`t give it a second thought.

What is funny is that I told my husband that I am the one who carries the baby for 9 months so I get to pick the name out. I picked my sons name out I couldn`t think of a middle name so we used his middle name which was also his dads and grandpas. I have a girls name picked out for our next kid if it is a girl, if not I am just going to do some more thinking.

my husband and i agree on the name we`ve picked out but i would prefer to look into something else as well but he wont change his opinion or even consider somehting else.

I don`t like the middle name but LOVE Tyler. Hey this is your baby too, and you can PLAY the card. `I carried this baby, I choose NOT to have that name`. Is there a meaning behind the name, if so maybe you can work on different spelling or something similar. Besides when the baby comes it may just not suit. Wait and see. good luck. You hold all the cards, just play them as you need to show them.

I don`t like the middle name, but it`s after my husband`s father who passed away, so I like the sentimentality of it. As for the first name, my hubby picked that too. I`m not crazy about it, but it`s okay and I can`t come up with anything better.

I wasnt happy with my sons first name for most of my pregnancy.. but his dad insisted.. I just picked a middle name I loved to even it out. I like his name now.

We are naming our son Donald August Hufford Jr and im not happy with it at all but since we waited so long to get pregnant i feel bad not naming him after his daddy and my husband was named after both his grandpas our second boy will be named after both his grandpas but im putting my foot down and get to choose the name and order they go in lol

We agreed on the first name of our son and the middle name I didnt really like at first but it grew on me. So I finally agreed on the middle name and said yes.

after my son was born we decided to call him tyler i was not that keen on it at all but after a while it grew on me and now i love the name and i`m glad we called it him
