Bitting isn`t a sign of weaning. UKmama`s advice is right and I would add that biting usually happens just at the end of the feed, when she`s not really sucking for the breastmilk. Watch her - she`ll likely be playing with your breast in her mouth, some mum even say their kids would get a look in their eye just before they bite! Remove as UKmama said if you see it.

to all those who think i should stop breastfeeding because my daughter bit me ..... well i wish i could, i have been trying to ween her of the breast for the last 2months but she just refuses 2 drink any more then 2oz of formula milk and also hates bottles she won`t have a pacifier either so i guess she don`t like the teats.

I agree as soon as they start biting it`s time for a bottle and solid foods.

stop breast feeding, she obviously wants to start chewing and yeah
