Deletesummerisis (207.3 days ago)My doc said no to sunscreen until 6 months old. Brimmed hats and aight weigt blanket are best protection at this age. You outfit sounds fine. I also have a UV tent for my little one. It`s called a Sun Stop`r. It`s awesome and I can fit in there for feedings and panty changes.

Deletekristenpaxton (207.4 days ago)ive been using aveeno spf 85 on my kids lately and it seems to work VERY well. My friend even borrowed some at the ballfield the other day to put on her 2 month old. Id also think that the last thing you wanna do is overheat your little one so dress her appropriately. I always used the canopy on the carseat to shade my boys and never once had either of them burn.

Deletekathleen (207.4 days ago)I`m sure u will be able to put bit of suncream on your baby, u could test a bit on her hand 1st just to see if she has a reaction. when we went 4 a picnic on the park my daughter wore a little sundress which had matching knickers when we sat down to eat i could feel the heat more so i took the sundress off her and kept the knickers on her over her diaper, keep her in the shade with a hat on. also u can give her a bit of water to drink.

Deletejenakers (207.5 days ago)Outfit sounds fine. You might bring a golf umbrella for extra shade.

DeleteRobinG (207.5 days ago)I am in the sun all the time with two older boys in sports, Hunter is in his stroller and the shade pulled over him ~ He has never gotten a sunburn so I would just keep her in her stroller and the canvas over her to shade her and no sunblock ~ The temps here were 80-90`s and it was just to hot even with clothes so we just had Hunter in his diaper ~ if you put clothes on have bare feet to keep cool and a loosefitting sundress sleeveless :) But keep in mind that if you go inside at anytime to keep her confortable too ~ I was at a party and the little girl was dressed the same for the hot weather but when she was inside in the airconditioning she was not layered more and she fussed alot and mom just assumed she was hungry every hour lol. I just know it was because she was cold ~ I felt so bad for her ~
