RobinG (110.2 days ago)BV cant be confirmed via urine ~ a vaginal swab needs to be done to confirm ((())) sorry ~
gr8scottswife (110.3 days ago)Simple diagnosis. bacterial vaginosis. You need to get it treated right away as it can cause pre-term labor, among other things.
alex76 (110.4 days ago)I know it`s hard but you have to go to the DR, it could be a yeast or urine infection, both things that if left untreated can be dangerous to both you and you`re baby
Hollye (110.5 days ago)n they wont look at ur vagina, u will just do a urine test.
Hollye (110.5 days ago)yep...odour means infection of some sort. Go to ur doctor. it can be dangerous if left untreated.
Jadens*MaMa (110.6 days ago)i thought that i had alot of odor when i was pregnant.. I always brought it up to my doc because it got sooooo annoying but she always told me there was nothing wrong but it went away after i had my son.. That is the one thing i dont miss.. I feel like i am finally back to normal.. thank god...LOL
captshelley (110.7 days ago)During my pregnancy I woke up one morning in awful pain at about 28 weeks and then had one huge contraction so I went to L&D and they found out I had a yeast infection. Never had one in my life but they said it`s pretty common in pregnant woman. I would get it checked out because the bacteria could reach your baby if it gets really bad or left untreated.
RobinG (110.7 days ago)I had Bacterial vag during pregnancy ~ yeast and BV are treated differently but both can cause an odor so its VERY important it be diagnosed properly ~ it is very common during pregnancy and needs to be treated right away to prevent problems later ~ (()) my BV brought on preterm labor ~
agonzales (110.8 days ago)Yup I would let your doc know for sure. It can be an infection and like one of the other ladies said, if its not treated it can cause you to go into preterm labor.
professorpreggers (110.8 days ago)some oder is normal with discharge and a yeast infection can cause some oder as well. A yeast infection is not going to hurt the baby but unless you see your doctor, you have no way of knowing if you have a simple yeast infection or bacterial vaginitis which can cause problems like preterm labor if left untreated. Go see your Doctor--they are just going to take a culture and send it out to be evaluated--there won`t be any internal exam so not to worry.
cj (110.9 days ago)go to the doctor or walk in clinic. You don`t want an infection pregnant! ASAP
mdbabyno1 (110.9 days ago)Yes, you might have an infection. I would definitely let your doctor know. They might just have to do a urine test.
