As long as you and your husband agree, that is all that matters. I think Harrison is a strong manly name. You can`t please everyone, if you want to call him Sonny, then do so. I know many people who had no intentions of using a nickname, and ended up doing so.

I named my son Sebastian and my granny made a remark in a derogatory manner that it was the name for a homosexual boy. We loved the name and were not changing it for her. I still cast it up to her though and she feels awful now.
