with my first I didnt get one til 20 weeks.. I go to a different doctor this time because we moved and I got one at 11 weeks

I got it at 5weeks because I was spotting. Then again at 9weeks to check on the baby.

I am in Canada as well and the standard is 18 to 20 weeks. I had one at 8 weeks cause of a previous miscarrige. However if u tell your family doc you have no idea when u conceived or how far along you may be they will order one.

I am in Canada as well and as far as I know the only standard one you get (which is optional, of course) is at 18 weeks. That is the only one I have had and I am 37 weeks. This is providing everything is normal. Good luck!

In the UK you usually get you`re first at 12 weeks but I had 2 prior to this as I had a kidney infection which in early pregnancy gives you similar symptoms to an ectopic.

i had my first at 11 weeks... only because I thought i was more like 16 weeks and I had a high risk pregnacy
