Yes it is normal. I have had 2 previous c sections and am now 22 wks preg. I get sharp pains around my scar and when i cough it kills, i mentioned it to my consultant as it worried me like mad and he said it was very normal due to the old scar tissue.

I have had 2 previous c-sections. I do recall a little pain near the incision as my uterus grew but nothing unbearable. It itched more than anything. I guess it could depend on how far apart you had your children also. Best of luck!

I had my appendix out at 14 weeks preggo, and as tiny as the incisions were, they caused pain for the rest of the pregnancy.

Hi dont worry it is normal. I had this in my second pregnancy but in my first I felt a tenderness in a scar I have just below my scar from a kidney operation that i had 25 years before I got pregnant. I mentioned it to the Doc who said it`s normal to feel this as the skin has been pulled tight when stitched. but for peace of mind mention it at you`re next visit.
