you can pick up your own heartbeat with a doppler but the baby`s is way faster, would be quite hard to confuse it. xx

My dr has even gotten my own heartbeat on the doppler. Its a good thing he knows what he is listening for though and knew it was mine.

You can pick up your own heart beat but you can tell the difference because yours will be slow and the babys is way faster. Or like itsaboy said they will tell you.

i know for a fact you can get your own heartbeat on the doppler...i have heard mine quite a few times when trying to hear the babies...so did my doctor and midwives...they tell you which is yours and which is babies..whoever the 1 no vote was, is wrong
