it is impossible to overdose on mylicon drops. they do not enter the bloodstream. they are fine for infant. and NEEDED!!! and i suggest the generic brand. You can get them for $4 at target as opposed to $12 for the brand name.

I gave them to my daughter at 3 days old! They are in so much pain from the gas and the drops fix them right up!!

I have 2 chilren already and I used the Lactaid drops and never had anymore colic problems. You cannot buy the liquid drops anymore at Walmart, etc., but you can go online and order it there. You can only buy the tablets in the stores now. Don`t know why they discontinued the drops but they worked for me and I plan to use it again for my little one due in December.

They are fine for any age. I used them with my son when he was just a few weeks old.
