I`m a bit embarrassed to write this but I was told that they`re `sensory deprivation` mittens so I never used them. I laugh at myself now. I was told, `If you`re going to put those mittens on your baby, you might as well blindfold her and tape her nose shut.` I think that was a bit extreme. BUT I probably won`t use them with Baby #2 either because I don`t like to buy stuff that isn`t totally necessary.

I just tried to keep my daughters nails cut, atleast once a week. I am sure they work good for some. But she couldn`t use her hands and that made her angry, she would take them off or scream until someone else did.

im glad i brought some to the hospital b/c their nails grow REALLY fast! and my son scratches himself still at 3mths b/c when he gets fussy somehow he scratches himself on his cute face. im having to clip his nails atleast once a week.my son never was able to keep the gloves on for very long but if your just persistant w/ them being on it does help lots!
