I get that thick discharge that you are talking about each time I have sex (within 24-36 hours after) doctor said it was nothing to worry about unless I start bleeding (not just a pink tint to the sticky discharge) hope this helps

Usually when you loose your plug, you wonder every time you wipe, but once you actually see it there is not doubt.
