hey i think if you are sure you want a tattoo then go for it. i have my daughters name on me. i love it and very happy i got it.i am pregnant again and will get this babys name to. as i dont think it would be nice when he/she grows up an i didnt have it done for them

I just got a tatoo for my son a few days ago... I thought of this to solve the problem of getiing an individual tattoo for each child that i may have in the future... I got a small set of footprints (black just in case the next baby is a girl...) and very small right below the footprints i had them put Aiden`s b-day... thinking that if we have another baby at some point i could just add that date above the footprints. Maybe a similar concept would work for you. Hope this helps!!!

I personally don`t like tatoos, but I certainly don`t think it`s `wrong` to do one with your daughter`s name. Although I do agree with softkitty that you should consider whether you`re going to do this for all your kids - as the youngest child myself, I can tell you it really stinks when the older kids get all the special attention. My mom never even finished my baby book!

I`m all for tattoos, however, adding one of your childs name/bday is a mistake waiting to happen. I say that because what happens if you have more kids? Then you have to add their names/bdays to your body. You can`t do one and not the rest, only if your plan is to tattoo all your kids names/bdays on your body.

i`m planning on getting my son`s name tattood on me. prolly a little above my ankle-everyone seems to get names on their shoulder blade.

I would never have a tattoo personally as I just think they look awful once you`re older. But if you`re adamant you are going to have one then that would be the best choice.

No- she`ll always be a part of your life- unlike men who could come and go, she`ll always be your daughter. Where the tat is is up to you.
