I slowly lost it over a week and 2 more weeks until I went into labor.

The doctor pulled my plug out when she was trying to get the cervidel out when they were softening my cervix, and mine was a bloody gooby mass, it was gross!!! after that about an hour later my water broke on its own and then offically i had to be induced. but i have heard that it could take a while and other times its right away. has your water broke yet??!? thats the question to ask!

with my first I started losing my plug at around 30 weeks. (in smaller amounts that is) this continued for weeks! I was induced at 39 weeks with preeclamsia, and she was 4 days early. I am 25 weeks this time around and I am already starting to lose small amounts of it, which scares the crap outta me! As far as a big glob, I don`t know what that`s like.... just make sure you`re resting a lot in case you DO go into labor soon!! Good Luck to you!
