Girl b/c of the spelling. `Ashton` would be a boy. Anything with `yn` seems girly to me.

Girl, for sure, with that spelling. :)

Like `itsaboy!` says because of the y and the `tin` sound, I`d assume it was a girl`s name. Ending `ton` is can only be a boy for me. Ashtyn sounds very nice. Like Ashlyn too. Good luck with it.

i chose girl, because of the spelling...with an `o` i say boy with a `y` i say definately girl...which i think is what youre going for...(hopefully, cause if not, i just insulted you...lol)

I def think girl but you prob knew that from my last poll...lol. I like it spelled Ashtyn or Ashtin for a girl...Ashton reminds me of Ashton Kutcher...but I love it!

If I saw it spelled with a `y`-then girl.

australianmother (103.3 days ago)
i think of both but if you read it as ashtyn i think girl

I usually hear Ashtyn as a boy name but I think it can go either way.

  1. Does anyone have a baby with a double-first name? Like David-James? My friend wants to give her baby a double name but she isn`t sure how to fill it out on the birth certificate. She wants it to be David-James and that is what she will call him but she also wants to give him a middle name. Does she need to put a hyphen? We would appreciate any help with this as no one seems to know. Thanks
