harpchick (39.1 days ago)Just to show you how times have changed, my mum, when she was pregnant with my brother in the UK, had terrible morning sickness and the doctors actually told her to drink a pint or two of Guinness a day because it would help with the morning sickness, and actually contains a surprising amount of nutrients! Go figure.
danyl (44.5 days ago)I am going to be pregnant on my 21st birthday. I talked to my doc about it and he told me to go ahead and have a glass of wine if I wanted. I`ve had a glass of wine at a friend of mines wedding, but that`s it. If you want a glass of wine and it`s ok with your doctor then go for it, but just don`t do it often...like they said down there...they don`t know how much alcohol is going to do damage. I would just be careful with it. Best of luck!
ginger (45 days ago)I have had 3 doctors in 3 different states (for each of my pregnancies). All 3 of them have told me that, after the first trimester, a glass of wine once in a while is fine. My other two daughters were born perfectly healthy and weighed almost 8 1/2 pounds at birth.
emy (45.4 days ago)So not worth the guilt I would feel afterward
TattooedMommyof2Soon (45.5 days ago)I wouldn`t say I have an occasional drink. I do however take itty bitty sips out of my husbands beer. I`ll have a baby sit maybe once every other week. I`d feel to guilty if I did more then that.
RobinG (45.7 days ago)No way ~ wouldnt even consider having one. My babies health is more important ~ I gave up drinking all together but I rarely drank anyhow so it didnt really matter ~
ashley251471 (46.1 days ago)no, but i dont see the point and why risk it? its only a few months and i want my baby to be as healthy as he can possibly be, its time to start thinking about their needs first not your wants. good luck:)
KateOhm (46.1 days ago)Would you put alcohol in your baby`s bottle?
jenny504 (46.1 days ago)Why bother? What satisfaction do u gain from having one drink?
alex76 (46.3 days ago)I`ve never been a big drinker anyway so it was easy for me in pregnancy.
kater (46.3 days ago)no, id love to, but research says they dont know how much alcohol is going to do damage, so id rather not take any risks, after all, its only a few months out of my life :)
ibaheir2dathrone (46.3 days ago)Nope, my childs life is more important to me than having a drink.
