i`d say, call your doctor. i`ve never had chicken pox & was preg with my first & was around some kids that had it & my doctor gave me the vaccines while i was pregnant to try to avoid getting them.

my son got chicken pox while i was pregnant. i have had them b4 but i went 2 the doctor just to be on the safe side, i had to go 4 a blood test to make sure i was immune from them. luckly i was but if i wernt i would of had to have the chicken pox jab and would of just had to be real careful.

Just for the record I would call your doc. I actually had the chicken pox twice (even though they say you can only get them once). I had them when I was 3 or 4 and then again when I was 10 or 11. I guess the case when I was younger wasn`t too bad so thats why I got them again and I got a terrible case of them the 2nd time.

If you had them before it shouldn`t bother you..but if you never had chicken pocks before you should avoid them and ask a doc about it... you might get it.

DID YOU ALREADY HAVE THE POCKS? I WORKED AT A DAYCARE AND WAS EXPOSED TO THEM WHILE PREGNANT. MY DR. SAID IF I ALREADY HAD THEM IT SHOULD NOT EFFECT THE BABY.
