naino3 (1314 days ago) im 40wks and 5 days and have only just got the crib ready!! no body can tell how far your going to go!! i have been 12 days over with my previous 2 and ive been booked in for induction for the 20th so theres no need to get every (apart from your bags, and the car seat!!!) ready to early or your just tease yourselve and that only brings disappointment if you go over due, and playden?? baby wont need that for months after he/she is born so defo no need for that just yet! i started washing all the clothes about 38-39weeks, theres no rush at all. good luck xx
newmommi (1314.5 days ago) I had this same question and my sister told me that when you feel like you need to start getting everything ready for the baby`s arrival then you are prob. having a motherly instinct that the baby will be here soon.... if you feel you need to get everything ready..... go for it!
Luis and Rosalanis Mami (1314.9 days ago) I would say to get it done so you don`t have to worry about it last minute, I set up my daughter`s crib a month or 2 before she was born and it was nice having it up and all set and ready to go, but my daughter came late lol she was a week overdue and i had to be induced. It kinda stunk having the crib up so early at the same time cuz it was in my room and I had to keep seeing it without a baby inside.
professorpreggers (1315.7 days ago) I would say get it done while you have the energy and worry less about when the baby will appear. I waited until now (30 weeks) to get my baby`s room painted, the curtains bought and the bed and dresser set up and I`m so tired I don`t have the energy to finish up the details. I had to get somebody else to put his cradle together. I felt silly in my second trimester starting stuff like that so I didn`t but now I really don`t have the steam I need to finish things up. I think it`s the heat lol.
Holly28 (1316.3 days ago) Why not do it now if it eases your stress and worry. Better too early than too late. Besides, it feels really good knowing that everything is set up and ready, even if baby isn`t yet :-)
EvaV (1316.5 days ago) I had delayed getting everything put together until now (34 weeks). I finally set up the nursery and everything else this past weekend. It`s sort of relief and one less thing to worry about. Its finding the energy to get it done though...
RobinG (1316.6 days ago) Gosh I hope you last longer, to at least 38/39 weeks, 32.5 weeks is way to early ((())) We put the car seat in around 38 weeks and never used a pack n play (we used a close and secure sleepr and soothing motions glider and they were out around 38 weeks too ~ :) Everyone said I`d go early too and all three were either late or induced/scheduled.
