i love the idea of giving a longer name, so it can have `options` for when the child grows he/she can have a choice about what they want to be called. i figure this allows for a bit more individualism. plus i really like the name Madelyn too :)

i like that madelyn and gavin both have the same A sound, if i have a girl next i wan to name her Madelyn. my boy`s name is gavin too.

Madelyn is great! She can be called Maddie as a child, and will have a very nice name as an adult, too. :)
