My mom had this. (she is turning 54 in Sept.) I never heard of it. (other than her) Sending prayers for him.

my best friend had to have her daughters tongue clipped. she was 3 days old at that point and she wasnt sucking properly. they just make a small snip in the string thing that is connecting the tongue to the bottom. it will likely just be a pinch. maybe minor bleeding but will heal fast. her baby didnt even cry

its called tongue tied and it happens to a lot of babies. it is an easy thing to fix and isnt too invasive. good luck!!

I believe they call it tongue-tied. My best friends son had this done a few weeks ago at about 1 month old and it was a simple procedure, he didn`t cry at all, no blood etc. They use some special tool to do it and apparently it does not hurt at all, best of luck to you.
