Other-poll poll Did having a baby push you and your boyfriend/husband apart from eachother? I feel like since the baby, our relationship is falling apart. Maybe cuz we don`t have time for eachother anymore...

My hubby and I seem to have problems in waves, I find that as we reach a new month or week with bub and things change again we start to drift apart again, I also use to blame him for things that weren`t even his fault as tto said you need to sit down and discuss things with him or even set sometime together even if you have to plan ahead, just try to remember not everything goes to plan.

It`s brought us closer together with our second, but with our first it was quite an adjustment. You both have new roles and new responsibilities that affect your exsisting responsibilities. Everything changes, you just need to get used to the changes. When the baby is older, it does get a little easier. You should talk to your BF openly and honestly and try to resolve the problems. Good luck!

For some reason our 2nd son has really drove us apart as well. All we do is fight anymore, we have no time for just us and I find myself pushing him away all the time. I`m not in the mood for hugs, kisses or cuddling let alone sex so all he does is get mad at me so of course I get mad at him. It`s been really stressful and we are actually concidering counseling.

At first it drove us farther apart, at least I think it did. Once our son was like 6 month things got much better. We were having a lot of issues adjusting to the idea of there being three of us and the responsibility and changes to our lives. This time things are fine. Pregnancy just intensifys any prexisting problems. Hang in there.

If anything, for us... it brought us closer together. Sorry you`re going through this.
