So I am having the HARDEST time deciding on names (especially a boys name, if it turns out to be a boy)... and I know I still have quite a while to decidie (I`m only 4 months pregnant now) but I really want to have to have the name chosen by the time I have my baby shower. I was just wondering... about what time did all you other mommies out there make your name decisions FINAL?

I've had my names picked out since before I was even pregnant. I wont change them.
I was a little unsure, but setteld on some names a few months before I gave birth.
I couldn't chose a name until I gave birth and held my baby in my arms.
I didn't settle on a name until a few days after giving birth!!

I didn`t know the sex of my baby until it was born- and at that point we only had a girl`s name picked out- and wouldn`t you know I had a boy...and all throughout my pregnancy I felt as if it were a boy so you think I would have been prepared for it. The nurses were actually nagging us for his name because they had to send out all the paper work for social security before the weekend. So for the first 3 days of our baby`s life, he was known as `Boy`. We finally decided on Ryland Chase Hender, and even then only thought about it for 5 minutes before signing the papers. However, I LOVE his name!

I MADE MY FINAL DECISION WHEN I WAS ABOUT 6 1/2MTHS.

We named our baby 30 minutes before he was born! Yes, we cut it close! His name wasn`t even in the running before that!

We had it narrowed down to a few but it came down to about 4 days before I gave birth to commit. My mother was trying to get me to change the name we picked clear up to the day I gave birth.....in the hospital....WHILE IN LABOR!

with my son we decided in the delivery room 1 hour after he was born and with my daughter she was 5 days old b4 she got a name. we put her pic up on here and asked the ladies 2 help pick a name 4 her, we got loads of nice names but didn`t choose any of them we found her name on a Internet name site.
