my son had it while i was 6 months pregnant i had to have a blood test done to make sure i was immune to it, which i was.

This just happend to me call your doctor there is a blood test that they will run to make sure that you are immuned to it but you need to get it done fast there is a med that they can give you but you have to get it with in being exposed to it within 48 hours but anyways im sure it will be ok they say once you get it you probley wont get it again best of luck

If you`ve already had the chicken pox, you will not get them again. Call your doctor as far as exposure to baby.

like some of the other comments said, chicken pox isnt very contagious once its come out in spots, plus it had a week long incubation period, so you should be fine. i would call L&D just to be safe though

Chicken pox aren`t contagious once they are showing on your skin

call your doc, but try not to stress... when you stress it affects your baby... you don`t need elevated blood pressure right now or anything. Call your doc ASAP.

Ditto to what BoystruckX2 said. I don`t know anything about it but if you read that if you get it before delivery there may be a problem, your OBGYN may want to induce you right away. I`d call ASAP if I were you.

I would definetly call your doc as soon as possible and ask if ther is anything you should do. I used to work in L&D
