Even without knowing the Adam Sandler reference, I think Scuba may be kind of a cruel name. But Diver might be kind of cool if you want to keep the theme. Seems strong, and not as eyebrow raising. :)

Don`t worry - i did a name poll and nearly everyone said the name i picked was cruel but i like it so i am going with it. if your son doesn`t like being called Scuba steve when he gets older he can always opt to be called just steve. I have loads of friends who call themselves by their middle name

Dont do it to him! I got that Adam Sandler movie stuck in my head now when the bloke says u up for sum Scuba scuba! arggg ur precious one wouldn forgive u if he got bullied. But then again he might love it too that its so weird an random lol x
