I couldn`t produce enough milk. I did it for 2 months but gave up after sitting all day with him latched on and him still not being satisfied. I am going to try again with this one though.

i started breastfeeding and really wanted to do it. he did great but then after telling the nurses not to give him a pacifier they did it anyway. he wouldnt latch on right after that and i ended up in severe pain a week later and i had to stop come to find out at 3 months that it was a milk blister now why couldnt the stupid nurses tell me that when i saw them. i asked them why. grrr well anyway thats why

I couldn`t produce enough milk (i tried everything for increase my milk supply and nothing worked), he didn`t latch properly and i had mastitis... pumping didn`t work

I actually didnt produce much milk. i was so tired and busy i wasnt eating much and that was my big problem. he had a great latch on there was just nothing there for him. but it worked out ok. at least i wasnt breast feeding when he got teeth... OUCH! girl who do that are way stronger then me thats for sure!

My son wouldn`t latch properly. I am going to try again with this one and hope it works out better.

My first baby had group B strep and was on oxygen and heart monitors for 10 days along with IV`s. When we did hold her she was wrapped in heavy heated blankets and it was hard to breastfeed. I did try with help from staff but she was weak and wouldn`t latch on. So for the 10 days she was in the hospital I pumped and took it to the nursery, they were very much for this since she was sick and needed that first milk. I have to agree that ever since then she has only been sick maybe 3 times with a small cold and this is over a 3 year period. I firmly believe that first milk makes a difference.

my first milk never came in and my second i had to stop at 5 weeks cause he was being tube fed and pumping did not work for me.

i didn`t breastfeed cause i had twins and it was too overwhelming being on my own with absolutely no sleep if i had of breatfed!!!

i breastfed for the first 6 weeks to make sure my baby got the main nutrients he needed..then stopped b/c i didnt wanna pump and leak when i went back to work...

I had a reduction. But ihad enough colustrom to feed him for a couple days and he got that.

I couldn`t produce enough milk and was told to supliment. After the first month and a half of pumping and getting less and less, I just gave up. Next time around, though, I`m going to rent the hospital pump and see if that has better results.
