Ady-and-Maylies-Momma`s poll Show results | Hide results

Pregnancy-poll poll I am 26 weeks preg and last night I had this pain about 2 inches right of my belly button and it felt like baby was sticking her heels out. I think she was but it had this extrordinary pain with it that hasn`t gone away since. There aren`t any heels there any more it just now kind of feels like a ripped muscle but I know it`s not. Any ideas? It`s not round ligament...and I`m out of ideas. It`s just that one spot!

Shouldn't be anything to worry about.
Call your doctor

My friend had that pain through most of her pregnancy and complained about it. After the baby was born they found that the baby kicking her so hard there cause her to get an umbilical hernia.

Had it to and the dr didn`t really say what it was but it felt like a sharp pain, like I`m getting ripped open. Now, after the baby was born, I don`t have any of that pain now.

I have had the same thing and my dr said round ligament

Sometimes if your lil one is kicking alot in one spot it can make your uterus sore, it may also just be growing pains...If it is too painful I would call your dr...

I had that too - only to the left of my belly button - it was sore for two days - just growing pains, dear!

The only reason I think it is not is because I had the round ligament pains the whole time last pregnancy and have had them this pregnancy, but have never felt this before.

Why do you think it`s not round ligament? I don`t think you should worry but I`d call the doctor anyway.

  1. Does anyone have a baby with a double-first name? Like David-James? My friend wants to give her baby a double name but she isn`t sure how to fill it out on the birth certificate. She wants it to be David-James and that is what she will call him but she also wants to give him a middle name. Does she need to put a hyphen? We would appreciate any help with this as no one seems to know. Thanks
