april mcspadden (76.5 days ago)some babies it dosent matter if you have done tummy time or saucer time, my son got flat head while in the womb, had to wear the helmet for 3 months but now his head is pretty and round! theres some pics of him with his hat on on my page!
bellaswan (78.4 days ago)if you keep your baby up in a saucer or on its tummy or hold it or interact with it and dont keep it in a swing or carseat all day, dont worry about the flat head.
kater (79.7 days ago)i was told in hospital, to prevent flat head, make sure baby has plenty of tummy time, whether this is while they are awake, on the floor, or when you burp them, lay them on your chest, or if you have them lol, lay down for rests with them lying on your tummy
coltonsmom (80.6 days ago)I`m with Andrea. I alternated sleeping on belly and sleeping on back with our son. I don`t really buy into the fact that putting a baby on their stomach can cause SIDS simply because when my daughter was born (22 years ago), they told us then to NEVER put a baby down on their backs. Now, it`s the opposite. I agree with Leahs too, have to give tummy time and supported sitting time. I don`t even know what the halo thing is.
leahs (80.7 days ago)All my kids slept on their backs, but none had flat head syndrome. I always made sure they had lots of tummy time and supported sitting time, and for most naps they would lay on their sides.
Andrea1222 (80.9 days ago)not using the halo...but i know it sounds bad but my son slept on him stomach which prevented him from getting a flat spot on his head. all of my friends babies have flat spots because they had their babies sleep on their back. just a thought
