I was still working at 3-4 cm dilated (don`t remember how much effacement). As long as your doctor says it`s ok and you feel fine keep working.

you should work untill you go into labor!!! If you are fine keep working , I did untill I went in to labor . I was 39 weeks and 5 day exacty the last day I worked. Went into labor the next morning @ 5 am... I called into worked and told them I am not coming in to work today..LOL

I have never had a baby before so really don`t have any actual experience, but everything I have read and my doctor has said that after you loose your mucus plug that it is much easier for infection and you need to check in with her (your doctor or midwife) and go from there. I totally understand about conserving your maternity leave - Good luck! ;)

i made it 4 wks after i hit that progress mark...just take it easy and take ur leave when u become 2 tired/uncomfortable 2 work any longer.

I was 3 centimeters and 100 percent effaced. I still made it to 38 and 1

You are probably going to the dr every week- so base it off that progress. I was 3cm, 80% for two weeks. After I lost my mucus plug, it was still another week.

You can be that way for a while. I was dilated to two for weeks and 50% effaced. I worked up until I had my baby

if you are comfortable, I would say to work untill you go into labor. you are past 36 weeks, so the baby should be fine if he were to come now. hope things go smooth for you and congrats :)
