hotpotaaaaato (1299.4 days ago) I loved going on the tour... we learned a lot about the general procedures that happen, what kind of rooms to expect to labor in, they had a fridge for hubby`s to grab food from, specific area to walk in labor, recovery rooms (what to expect)... it was just really nice to learn what to expect (many of the things I would have never known) so that I could calm my fears. I thought it was great for hubby to go to, cause I know he has his own fears too. Good luck!
mdbabyno1 (1299.5 days ago) I went by myself because my BF couldn`t get off work in time and I didn`t want to post pone the tour any longer because my due date was coming up. I just like to be really prepared so I thought it was informative. I just figured, when I`m in pain, at least I`ll know where to go and what to do. I`m glad I went otherwise we would have had to ask at the front desk which would have just taken longer.
***MDelly*** (1299.8 days ago) I went and it was really informative and plus you know where things are once you get there. I am really glad I went. My hubby didn`t get to go though but it will be okay cuz he will be with me anyhow and really the only place he needs to know is my room and the cafeteria. LOL Good Luck but I recommend taking the tour especially if the hospital is big.
Andrea1222 (1299.8 days ago) you dont need it..if anything..your hubby needs it because you will most likely be stuck in bed for the most part as where he will proably be walking around to just get out or get food or whatever. but i didnt have one but once i was there they showed my hubby around and he thought it was helpful
sadielady (1299.9 days ago) i wouldnt say its completely neccessarry.. but it helped a little. like when it was time to go to the hospital we knew exactly where to go and what to do. i would do it if i were you,, and if you go have hubby go with you, you might be in too much pain to remember or check yourself in or whatever. good luck!
