Linda-Rose (1295.6 days ago) Thanks Ladys for all your great ideas,, just had a shower with my daughter, an althou it didnt last 2 long, an she wouldnt let me put her on ground (i had to carry her the whole 4 mins :) ) i feel a bit of relief that if i keep doing it shell hopefully start enjoying bath/shower time again.. if she doesnt thou, im deffinatly trying that baby bath idea,, never heard that before an althou shell be huge in it im sure without the plug shel(hopefully) enjoy it
alex76 (1295.8 days ago) Wow, my daughter is going through the same thing, she flips out if you take the plug out while she is in too. I asked her why she was doing this and she said it was because of the spider. I asked what spider? She said the one in Granny`s bathroom.
sadielady (1295.9 days ago) im having the same problem.. the only way it works for us is for me to get in with him but he still barely stays in long enough for me to get him clean. or we have a detachable shower head and if i let him hold it while i wash him, hes fine. good luck!
RobinG (1295.9 days ago) I agree with Candace ~ once they see that scrubbing bubbles commercial and see the bubbles go down the drain they are afraid they will too ((())) I would cover the drain fully so she cant see it with the long bath mat and even if you have tothe first few times get in with her :)
tto (1295.9 days ago) Put the baby bathtub in the tub or cover the drain with something large. You could try getting a new tubtoy character whose job is yo guard the drain- play it up like a puppet.
coltonsmom (1295.9 days ago) Have you tried getting into the bath tub with her?? Showing her everything is ok, because mommy is there too? Maybe one time she accidently hurt herself in the tub and associates that pain with bathtime now. ::shrug:: I`d get right in with her and see if that works. Best of luck.
