i didnt choose a number. pregnant with our second. i think were done for a while. and i dont think i ever want to get pregnant again, id love to maybe adopt later in life,, depending on how things are going at that point. i do think even numbers work well.

I wanted 2 before we had any. Then we felt we`d prefer 4 once we got the hang of 2. Now I`m expecting a surprise fifth baby and strangely (?) it feels fantastic and we can`t believe we didn`t think of it ourselves. It`s such a personal decision. We all cope differently with different things. I was a only child though, so, from my experience of that, I wouldn`t have chosen to have only one child myself.

i think we`ll only have 2, but we would love to adopt a 3rd. We would love to have a lot of kids, but we also feel responsible for paying for college and going on nice vacations as a family.

No offense to lauren18, but for being 18 and having no children yet you can`t judge families of 2 kids for being too small. I have 2 kids and trust me I am plenty busy.

i dont think it completely has do with money. yeah, you cant be broke, but you also dont have to be rich. you have to be able to afford to get them the necessities and a few treats and you mostly need to be able to handle and love the amount you choose.

I want 4, at least 3. I would never have just 1, and I think 2 seems too small of a family

I agree, if you can provide a loving home with great parenting and allow your children opportunities... and you can afford to do so, have as many that makes you feel complete and happy. I didn`t chose a number because I don`t think there is a right number... just a right circumstance.

i totally think however many you can afford. If i won the lottery id have about 6-7 maybe more LOL it is lovelly to see kids playing with their siblings
