My husband also works the night shift. When he gets home in the morning he`ll let me sleep and will do the feedings I breastfeed and pump) I`ll wake by 11a and take over. He`ll sleep and wake and help some more before he goes to work so I can get ready for the night.

I look after our 8 week old all day while he is at work, and when he gets home, he takes over. Also, I get up with her in the night during the week, and on weekends he does it, so I can sleep in :)

my partner works away all week and don`t come home till friday night. so on sat and sunday when he is home he will help out but i have to ask him to do it or he will sit on his ass doing nothing lol

lucky ladies...my ex husband NEVER hardly did a thing to help with our son and yet still expected me to keep our house spotless and have a hot supper on the table every night. I havent had much luck in getting either of my sons dads to step up. My oldest is 7 and my youngest is 4. Thankfully i know im gonna have as much help as i want or need with this one...his dad is pretty great. I think i will actually have to tell him and his fam to back off sometimes lol.

mine works the night shift too... gets home anywhere between 2am-5am......... he`s able to sometimes get off early, so in the beginning he would and come home (not tired yet) and stay up all night and do everything for baby.... just bring her to me when i needed to nurse her. He sleeps in until about 3pm but he wants to be a part... holds her etc. Good luck... kick his butt!

Mines is really good, when he comes home from work he tells me to sit down and he`ll take over.
