Landons Mommy!! (1268.1 days ago) personally, im not a huge fan of the whole cartoon theme... i am in the same situation as you. we just re-painted the room a creamy yellow color and a creamy sage green...it goes for both sexes...plus my three year old daughter doesnt care. her side is covered in hannanh montana posters anyways...lol.
mcltweety (1275.9 days ago) There are lots of ideas including baby looney tunes, winnie the pooh, basic teddy bears, sky theme with moon and stars or clouds, zoo animals(yellow themed), fisher price rain forest which is green with bright animals. There are plenty out there just look around.
ibaheir2dathrone (1276.7 days ago) I love the care bear theme. My sis in law is having her 11th baby (due end of Sept.) She is putting her son 5 Daughter 3 and new son in there. She is doing a Baby Safari theme. I think that is adorable with boys and girls. Lots of room to make girly and boyish at the same time. :o)
Alise (1276.7 days ago) i htink the character ideas with boy and girl like the mickey minnei and peter pan and tinker bell ideas are cute. even comin gup with your own would be cute. i think i personally would do their room in carebears. the whole room could be with all the varebears, but his bedding could be bedtime or brumpy bear since theyre blue and her bed could be love a lot bear or sunchine bear since those two are pink and yellow.
coltonsmom (1276.7 days ago) I love Robin`s idea for Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. VERY cute!
sadielady (1276.7 days ago) my boy and girl will share a room. at grandmas house the nursery is a minty green color. with mostly primary color accents. her bedding is lady buggs. kinda girly but it still goes with his red bedding. when we move i want to do their room in black and white with red accents. good luck!
sgtoodles (1276.7 days ago) Animals are good for either gender. I did my son`s room with jungle animals- has a light green wall and soft colors of animals. My thought is if baby #2 is a girl, animals will be ok for her, too.
JadesHotMom (1276.7 days ago) why dont u do half of the room one color and half another color. one side says girl and one side says boy. and a play area for both.
jenakers (1276.7 days ago) I did my boy`s room in a warm cream color (Belgin waffle) that had a touch of yellow in it. The bedding was very basic with a little frog embroidered in it. That way you could do her bedding in a girly color because everything goes with cream.
RobinG (1276.8 days ago) I would pick a theme that has characters both boy and girl, minnie and mickey mouse for example is another one. :)
RobinG (1276.8 days ago) Peter pan with tinkerbell :) Can really have a ball getting items and decor that goes with both themes :) And you can just use bedding that accents the colors of the theme and if you can paint a wall mural with the characters :)
