bones9812 (1267.8 days ago) Cassandra...seriously...I could see myself doing that (you should hear the amount of unnecessary whining that goes on in a house of 4 kids)...BUT I WOULD NEVER TELL ANYONE FOR GOD`S SAKE....did Tania tell you that story?
TaniamommyX3 (1267.8 days ago) MariaC - Damn girl! You seen me on the last episode??!!! It turns out the guy who was #10 who I was SURE was the daddy this time, aint the daddy. But I know who the daddy is now...i think. Well, I`m pretty sure it was this dude I was messing with...or maybe his cousin...well, Maury knows who the daddy is!
MariaC (1267.9 days ago) TATIANA... Your that woman off Maury aren`t you??? The one who has had 10 paternity tests and keeps throwing herself on the floor!!! xXx
Seriously though, I voted yes, although I`m not sure if I`d get one!!! xXx
CassandraLee (1268.6 days ago) LOL. `F&$* ME SHOES` LOLOLOL. Money does not make you a good parent or a good person. Being poor doesnt make you a bad parent. My old boss was a high-up in my company. Made pretty good money. Her son was 8 and complained to her one night about his arm hurting. She brushed it off as him being annoying (this was HER telling the story to us). Kid kept on complaining and she kept ignoring him. Eventually she paid him attention, after 2 days of his whinning. Come to find out the kids got a broken arm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This child has been in pain for days, asking the woman whos supposed to care for and nurture him for help and she ignores him. This woman and her husband have all the `right` things. They have money, are married, nice home, good careers...That doesnt mean anything...There should be some kind of background checks, mental health evaluation, and a damn common sense test before youre given your license to breed. If you walked into any adoption agency in the world they would chekc you out, require to meet certain standards. How come I cant get someone elses kid without jumping through hoops, but as long as I have a uterus I can be a crap mother and breed all day long?
bones9812 (1268.8 days ago) And while we`re discussing the candidates for said-licensure....last year at the PTU bookfair....a mom showed up with her toddler in footie pajammas and her pre-school daughter in worn clothes (like 6th generation hand-me-downs from a circus family==throroughly warn out) and her 3rd grader in a nice, clean uniform but her hair was a mess (as was the hair of the other girls--like knots and matting, etc)...you could tell they never saw a peice of unprocessed food in their lives--no shine to their hair or eyes, sallow skin (they are white), etc....so now you`re thinking I`m a beast because they might not have had enough $ right? nope....MOM CAME IN IN A FULL-LENGTH FOX COAT...nails, hair, DG purse...the whole nine yards, right down to the F*$# me shoes....nice job, Super Mom...can I be like you when I grow up? I`m quite happy to look like the unshaven, unbrushed, unwashed beast that I am, as long as my kids look like a million bucks...and by that I mean clean, well-nourished and neat (not up-to-the-minute in fashion..hell...they go to Catholic school where fashion was banned in the 1940s).
trai (1268.8 days ago) Though not feasible something should be done. It burns me up to see sooooo many parents who put their needs ahead of their children. I personally know of three mothers who should have been licensed. 1 who shipped her teenage daughter to her dad because she had a smart mouth years after she sent her son because he was out of hand. She's now down to 1 who she can't get rid of because she has no relationship with the father. 1 who is always moaning about giving her 3 kids to the dad (even though the oldest isn`t his) because she`s hurting financially. He`s doing no better than she and would be a far worse influence. And the 3rd and worst a 27 yr old mom of 3 who routinely puts her wants and desires ahead of the needs of her children. Who gets their nails done and goes out partying when the kids need their hair cut and school clothes and supplies???? People like these 3 make me believe that just not anyone should be able to bring children into the world. When you have a child, its no longer all about you.
CassandraLee (1269.2 days ago) This also relates to the new law passed in Nebraska: You can drop you child at any Safe Haven location. Your CHILD being any dependant of yours UP TO 19 YEARS OLD!!!!!!! Maybe if people were required to be licensed before breeding we wouldnt need dump-off sites for children. Dogs get better treatment then that. Our society really makes me sick sometimes
CassandraLee (1269.2 days ago) Prenatal classes being mandatory wouldnt do shiiit! You should have seen the morons at mine. They were all 10 years old and couldnt name one part of their vagina. Whoever said we need better government funding and health care is S-I-L-L-Y! Here in Minnesota, the Welfare mecca, you can get anything. Health care, child care, food, money, rent, heat, cars. They will get you ANYTHING you could possibly need. With all that help we have stories in the news here all the time of crappy @$$ parents who shouldve been required to be licensed before breeding. Money is not the problem. PEOPLE are the problem. Some people have lots of money and still suck as parents. Paris Hilton can get her hands on anything she wants and I still wouldnt want her for a mother! Can you imagine?! Its a far fetched idea, but I love it. If you have to have a license to catch a fish in the lake, why shouldnt you have to be required to be or do something in order to be responsible for another human being? If it was your job to be responsible for others (nurse for example) not only do you have to have a background check, schooling, but you also have to be licensed.
mommy2be707 (1269.2 days ago) lmao yall are funnie :]
i think people just need to grow up and if there not `ready` to have kids then use birth controll man... my DH`s lil cousin is 14 and has had atleast 8 abortions that i PERSONALLY know of... of there had to be a license to have kids could u imagine how many more abortions there would be....
bones9812 (1269.3 days ago) Was that the same guy that was doing your mom? Or was that the dude Gramma was with? you know...the one who left her for Grandpa?
TaniamommyX3 (1269.3 days ago) Oh crap!!! I mean...my baby`s daddy is getting out of jail but he`s only the baby`s baby daddy. The other young`ins are from another daddy....and his brother is the daddy to number three. I know that for a fact because Maury gave me a patrnity test!
bones9812 (1269.3 days ago) Tania...you have a sick mind....and you screwed it up...you mentioned fathers being in the picture...and insinuated that all 5 were his! Silly girl! What Neverland are you living in?
TaniamommyX3 (1269.4 days ago) I don`t think people need a license because I know that my dude and I are just fine even though we have had our 5th kid and I can`t remeber his name. Maybe it was the alcohol I drank during my prgnancy but I just can`t seem to remeber much about by 5th kid. Anyhow, my dude says that once he gets out of jail, he`s gonna put wheels on the trailer and we are going to go live somewhere real nice with our kids. Oh, and if we did need a license, it would be hard because I`m not even legal in the USA! Well, my parents didn`t need a license and they were great and we always had so many people coming over. They didn`t just come to get drugs from my pops, sometimes they came to vist with us kids too! It was real nice when they let us play with their guns and when they taught my little brother to smoke weed and we turned out just fine! :-)
bones9812 (1269.4 days ago) And how come nobody caught the `No, I`m just fine thank you` insinuation?
bones9812 (1269.4 days ago) I agree that implementing this would be a disaster! But please know that I didn`t mean young moms, unwed moms, etc...There are plenty of 40 yo moms and married-for-10-years moms out there that need to be beaten with their positive pregnancy test stick...and, what would we do if they refused to take the test? Take the babies to orphanages? No...I agree that it would never work...too many `what if`s....but it`s nice to dream...
tiger21 (1269.4 days ago) I know we can`t impose a license but I have to say it was heartbreaking to see who some of the babies go home with at the hospital. This isn`t about age it`s about love and patience and caring. Some people should not have children and in a perfect world, it would be nice if they had a child unexpectedly if they knew this of themselves and gave that child to a loving, caring family. There are some really $#^&( up parents out there and everytime I look at my son I am so happy I can give him a lot of love. I wish all children were loved equally. There are a lot of people who need parenting skills it doesn`t come naturally for all. I don`t how to change it but everday I read the news I am disgusted by the choices some parents make.
jenny504 (1269.4 days ago) No i don`t think a license is the answer, better education and healthcare might help! More govenment programs and funding as well as better daycare costs. The problems that occur in neglect cases should be looked at more carefully and parents as well as the children should get more and better care from our govenment. Welfare is the govenment being lazy just as much as the people who are on it.
sept1baby (1269.4 days ago) I think the question should be if a woman has an abortion because she doesn`t want to take responsibility of her actions shouldn`t she have her reproductive organs taken out while she`s in the office or hospital killing her child so it doesn't happen again? I can see if someone is raped or has a medical issue but so many people would love to have a baby who can`t and then you see all these women who are killing their babies. It sounds harsh, and I know it doesn`t answer your question but it`s what I think. Honestly, I don`t know why this thought came to mind when I read this. But, an answer to your question would be no one needs a license as long as they take care of their children because age doesn`t say what kind of a parent you can be.
azmommytobe (1269.5 days ago) I`m on board sister! What do we need to do?
babymamma (1269.5 days ago) I say no for 2 main reasons, yes its true there is some horrible people out there that have kids, and yea, maybe they should have to have a license, but ther are a lot of young mothers out there who would probaby get turned down because of age who would be and ARE WONDERFUL mothers, plus what about the THOUSANDS of people who get pregnant and didnt plan it? i would think they would have their children taken away from them because the didnt have a `lincense` and could be punished by law like driving a car without a license, and had absolutly no controle it would just never ever work.
