kater (94.1 days ago)i have an avent manual, and im totally happy with it. its advertised to be as effective as an electric pump, but its quiet and a whole heap cheaper than an electric one. but its good you are researching them, i bought a dodgy one and if i had to rely on that piece of junk, id have no milk left!!
bellaswan (94.8 days ago)I recommend an Ameda. It`s every bit as good ( if not better) than a medela and a fraction of the price. I personally hated my Medela, it was way too loud.
Elijahs Mom (96 days ago)I have an awesome pump made my Lansinoh. I`ve had it for a month now and its been awesome. All the the reviews online have been top (by moms that exclusively pump). Its $150 at target.
babygal187 (96.9 days ago)I really like the Medela because of all the good press it`s getting. I have the pump in style advanced and it works great, but I think Playtex has one comparable to Medela and costs just as much. I saw that my friend had one and it comes with plastic shields in the breast pump part. But her pump broke after just 1 month of used while she was out of town without her baby. She said it really sucked. That would be the only problem I have with them. Other than that I`d stick to my Medela. I found one brand new on ebay for $99.00.
tto (96.9 days ago)Don`t mess around with cheap pumps- stick with Medela or other highly recommended brands. Cheap pumps hurt you and hurt your milk supply- and don`t last as long. I got my Medela on Ebay for $85 or I could`ve rented one for $40/month.
azmommytobe (96.9 days ago)if you are interested in buying vs renting medela has a new pump you need to check out. wish they had it 4 mo ago
