Baby-poll poll I`m trying Playtex Drop-In bottles now, b/c my 1 month old son seemed to be swallowing air with the cheap bottles I had before. I find that it`s hard to measure with the Drop-In bags, and hard to see how much is left as I`m feeding him. I like to push the air out of the bag before feeding. For those using these bottles, have you had the same troubles? Any suggestions?

I`ve been using the drop ins almost 6 months now and found that if you screw the lid on really tight, the liner doesn`t scrunch up. At first we had the same problems as you, figuring out how much was gone, etc. But now if the lid is super tight, the liner stays down and you can read the ounces no problem. hope that helps!

I used the drop ins with my 2nd child and am currently using the drop ins with this baby. I do have a hard time measuring. Since I breastfeed I will pour the breastmilk into my Medela bottles to measure then pur into the liner. These bottles are the only ones my little ones would take.

I always just pour the water in into the marker on the bottle and than push the air out to feed. When he stops eating I unscrew the lid and let the air back in to see how much is left.

I used them with my son and will with my daughter (in belly), i always put the amount of formula in the bag and then added the water and then shook it, let the foam settle and then feed. I dont know if this is really bad, never had any bad effects from it but if he didnt finish a whole bottle i would just refridgerate it and add it into the next one? its kind of a pain but they are the only baba that worked for my son and i tried everything..and its BPA free
