tto (86.4 days ago)I bet it isn`t the brand but maybe the oatmeal. But the only way to be sure is to wait a week and try it again to see if the same thing happens. Its the only way to be sure it was the oatmeal and not something else.

DeleteRobinG (88.4 days ago)table foods are def good :) But there are two types of table foods. I made some myself but not all table foods are the same ~ processed, packaged and sodium packed foods arent the same as fresh with no pesticides, perservatives, sodium and all kinds of junk etc etc added to them ~ I purchased fresh organic carrots and made them but I`ve never use canned non organic ones so def table foods are great but be careful what ones you choose to feed :)

Deletekater (88.5 days ago)whats wrong with table foods? i always made my daughters food and never had a problem. id rather she eat fresh food rather than tinned. as long as you are giving one food at a time, as the other suggestions said, you will be able to find the food which doesnt agree with her, and avoid it in the future. usually babys start with rice cereal because it tends to be one of those foods which rarely cause reactions. and yes, my daughter started out having an intolerance to lactose, and many baby food have milk products in them and she would get sick from that. luckily she grew out of it though, and is fine with dairy. we just checked the labels, and didnt get the ones with dairy products in them. i found it easier to make her food rather than stand in the isle, reading labels though

DeleteRobinG (88.5 days ago)I would use Earths Best organic, it is better priced where I live ~ and SO much healthier :) I stick with cereal only for another month or few weeks then try Earths Best one food at a time for a couple weeks :)

DeleteCassandraLee (88.8 days ago)Table foods are not appropriate for a baby that young. mommy-at-home is correct, never introduce more then one new food at a time and feed only one new food for a week to see if baby has allergy to it. There are lots of things babies that age arent supposed to have because they have higher risk of causing allergic reactions like corn, peanut butter and milk.
Edit
Deletemommy-at-home (88.8 days ago)The brand of food is probably not the problem. How many different foods have you introduced her to? corn? beans? sweet potates? carrots? etc??? She is probably allergic to one of the foods you have given her. You should always introduce one new food at a time (one new food every two or three days), so if an allergy exists you will be able to spot it more easily.
