We are using pampers swaddlers as a newborn and then gdiapers. We will still use disposable for when we go out, but gdiapers at home, at g-mom`s and at night.

I use cloth diapers... we use Bum Genius and I love them...havent had any issues with them, they are cute and come in diff colors and hold in all the poo and pee...

we`re going to use gDiapers. i`ve heard nothing but good things about them! they are like pantyliners for a reusable outer `sleeve`. whenever the kid `goes` you just slip out the liner and flush, toss or even compost it! they are fully biodegradeable and are considerably cheaper, safer and equally convenient. will help with potty training down the line too, i`m told.

to be honest, whatever is on sale. if the store brand is cheaper, i`ll get that. if pampers or huggies are on sale, i`ll buy those. theres only a few store brands ive tried that i avoid like the plague but the place where i do my grocery shopping has a good store brand. regardless, my son pees through them a few times a week during the night no matter what the brand, even if i buy a bigger size which hold more pee!
