Hell yeah! I actually used a Baby Bjorn. The sling I had was a cheap, sucky one. I strapped my son on anytime I needed to do something, or when he was really cranky. Lets baby be close to you, smell you, and most importantly hear your heartbeat...I was able to have both hands free. He usually feel asleep right away, so I would lay him down. I decorated my Christmas tree with my son strapped to my chest :)

I have a wrap and LOVE it.. my hot sling is nice for quick things like running into the bank real quick but for shopping or hanging around the house the wrap rocks!

i used a sling type of thing and i didn`t like it. I couldn`t find the exact one i want so i settled for a different brand. Saying that tho my son was born early and weighed 4lbs 8oz... I think he was to small for it and they way it looked it seemed like i had him in a purse LOL.. Got some strange looks for that.... It basically from some 1 else perspective looked like it closed him in... i wish i remembered which brand it was. i got it from babies r us

i had a sling and a carrier (infantino). i absolutely hated the sling...baby never felt secure in it to me. always feared that the strap would slip through and he would fall out. kinda hurt my back as well...but i love, love, love my carrier! :)

I did not use a sling but I do use a snugli. I love it. It frees my hands to do other things, and being close to me soothes my little girl.
