It cracks me up the several page lists my sisters have left for my mom over the years--she raised all of us just fine! I shouldn`t speak too soon since I may find myself doing the same, but c`mon I even had a page note written to me on how to feed my sister`s dog his frosty paws doggie ice cream once! lol

My daughter was 10 days late and came on 21st December, we had planned to stay for Xmas at my Mum`s who stays 70 miles away,but ended up going a week later. When we got there she said she would keep the baby all night if we were ok with it and we were to go to my sister`s who lived down the road. I`d had a section and she wanted to give me a good night`s sleep. I felt guilty at first but we did it and it was great, my daughter was totally comfortable with them and I slept for 14 hours! I 100% trust my baby with her grandma so it was ok for me but it`s completely up to you.

for a few hours... when ever u both feel comfortable!! there is no set standard...

If you trust grandma and grandma feels comfortable, you can do it the next day if you want to. `I` didnt go anywhere for a long time after delivering. But I wouldnt have felt uncomfortable about leaving him home with my mom. I just wouldve missed him alot :D

my baby was born 3/6 and my parents had my son overnite for the first time when my son was almost 2weeks old (st.patty`s day)
