He was itching for me to get my doctor's approval.
The recommended 6 wks were good b/c he was still pretty uncomfortable.
He didn't think he would be ready, but by the time 6 wks rolled around he was ready.
He still wasn't ready even when I was ready.

my husband was uncomfortable with doing the deed while i was pregnant, but we found other ways to stay happy... afterward, we were both chomping at the bit to get back to it. he was worried he would hurt me, but we took it slowly and it was fine

My hubby was never uncomfortable with sex during pregnancy. So we didnt even wait til the recommended 6 weeks was up lol. =)
