Babies can`t sit by themselves at 3 months. They can sit SUPPORTED, but they can`t independently sit on their own. My daughter was 5 months when I could plunk her on the floor and she`d sit all by herself.

it was around 5-6 months and it was less then a minute like robin... once he started crawling he learned to go from crawling to sitting and back,.... thats when he sat really well so by 8 months

6 months but for less then a minute and kind of slumped over ~ sat for about 15 mins without falling around 7-8 months :)
