I have heard - not sure if its true or not, that the longer it takes for the teeth to come in the better - the teeth will be stronger and healthier. Again not sure if this is accurate or not.

Don`t worry, it can take up to about 12 months for a baby to get any teeth. Your bub may end up getting a whole heap of teeth in one go. If there`s no teeth by about 13 months then I`d maybe go see a dentist or pediatrician.

No worries about the teeth. I`ve known plenty of babes that didn`t get teeth till after 1 yr. then they all came in at once! :)

All babies are different, my daughter had all of her teeth by the time she was a year old, my neice is a year and 3 months old and she is only getting her 3rd tooth, I wouldn`t worry too much about it, the longer they stay in the stronger they will be, my daughter has more cavities than i ever had in my lifetime even though we`ve been brushing them ever since she got them, she has the cavities due to the fact that she has weak enamel since they all came in so early, she had her first 2 teeth when she was 4 months old and they kept popping in after that.

my daughter got her first one at 10 months, but my good friend`s daughter got her first tooth at 1 1/2 years!! Crazy. They come when they come.

Mine came in around then. I just lost them later than other kids...but I`ve been told by dentists that I have excellant teeth (don`t know if it`s because of that though!)

My daughter is 9 mo and just got her bottom 2 teeth, but my first child didn`t get his first tooth until he was 14mo, there is no problem at all with this, the dentist even said the longer they take to come in the stronger they will be.
