I would lay my girls belly down on my lap and rock my legs gently from side to side. it helps to push bubbles out of there belly in both directions. it also is soothing because of the rocking motion.

My family always put warm flannel of a radiator/dryer on my stomach. Or what I do to mine if she has a bad stomach is put her in the bath! It`s warm on them and the water is soothing. Good luck xx

i really think you are doing everything you can for him, my first was really bad colic, my second wasn`t and this one ( 6 weeks) i would say is very mild colic. All i can say is it doesn`t last forever i promise. i think jenasay is right try co-sleeping. but be careful they have those little things that can go in the bed with you. good luck

My baby was the same, nothing is gonna work `til you find out what type of formula is the best for him or finding out what are you eating if you`re breastfeeding... I was using Enfamil w/iron, now he is eating Good Start Supreme and We haven`t had the problem since we started using it, is like a day and night.

What about a sling or wrap? And don`t be a afraid to put baby down in crib, close the door and take a break for 15-20 minutes if you need it. Good luck! I'm sure you're doing a really good job.

My 1st son was really colicky for a couple of months...it was really hard and he hardly slept... I feel for u i know how hard it was in fact with my second baby i was so scared to go threw that again...luckily my 2nd wasn`t colicky. The hardest part i think is u know ur baby is hurting & upset and nothing works. My 1st suggestion --is get help. I had a friend who would give me a break for a couple hours. I remember calling her up crying saying ` i just need a couple of hours sleep`.. 2nd suggestion--Co-sleeping i think is a great option for a colicky baby. It was how i ever got sleep (and i had him in his own bed by 2 yrs old)...the less sleep you get the harder it is to deal with a colicky baby....3rd suggestion-- make sure its colic... talk to ur doctor and make sure its not something else... Another thing to think about doctor`s don`t really know what causes colic. their are a couple of theory`s (at least when my 9 yr old son was a baby)...their are 2 theories 1) gas or stomach pain 2) inability to calm him/her self down. So one day act like its gas... put warmth on the belly see if that helps... massage the baby`s belly...and the meds like gas drops ect.... the next day try acting like the baby is having trouble calming him/her self down.... Walk around, car ride, vacuum, washer/dryer..anything u can think of calming her down..... Swing side to side (if u ever saw friends episode when Ema wouldn`t stop crying).... ...see what works bette and do that...also Google Colic it can give u some updated info and help u find some other mommies who can tell u what helps... Be creative and try diffrent things...and hold the baby alot that will help to even if he/she is crying... I wish u well and hope for the best!!!
