I always used Non-Bio with my son, It can be very slightly more expensive but it makes them so soft and lovely on babys skin

I think its good to use something free of dyes, perfumes etc. I like dreft. I only used it through the 3-4 month. When I switched to regular, our baby no reaction or anything.

I use tide. It works best on stains and it is not harsh. My daughter has never had a skin sensitivity though.

I use arm and hammer powder detergent on all of our clothes! it is gentle enough for the kids but i like the fresh smell and how well it cleans.

We wash all babys clothes seperately with dreft. i heard there are some cheaper soaps you can use that are like dreft, but idk. my MIL bought the dreft for us so we havent had to worry about that expense yet.
