RobinG (1234.9 days ago) My first two are 4.5 years apart and it was awesome! I cant imgaine it any other way. I was never overwelmed with two littles ones at home at once since one was in school. I really had good one on one for extended periods of time with each child :) I was well rested with my 2nd as well when I had a sleepness night from my newborn since the older one was in school. I doidnt have to worry that my toddler was getting into things when I tended to my infant. It was cheaper since I wasnt changing two sets od diapers. Overall I felt it had more pros being spaced apart. I am very close to all my siblings even though we are 3-6 years apart so age to me doesnt dictate how your relationship will be. Its all how you are raised in doing things as a family and bonding. Quality time not quantity :) EditDelete
dextersmum (1235 days ago) I always wanted to have my kids 1.5 -2 yrs apart. I`m really glad I didn`t.
My 3 year old now understands more and I can make a deals with him, before he was 2 he didn`t get it.
The problem is, when they`re mobile and their ears switch off - it would be a bit of a nightmare to have a baby to look after as well.
I know the ears will still switch off and he won`t do everything I ask him to, but I`m hoping it that we can do more together and I can offer him rewards for good behaviour (which actually works really well now)! EditDelete
