Aliwitbaby (51.8 days ago)honestly my kids only get store bought juice once in a blue moon. they drink TONS of water. But if I am juicing myself some carrots and appples, or something I will juice some for them because that is WAY more healthier. It`s better if they eat those vitamins anyway.
Heatherbugg (51.9 days ago)Nobody really needs juice. Water is what our bodies are made to drink. Although it`s refreshing from time to time to drink it. In my house I only buy it once in a great while. We should be eating the whole fruit with all the fiber included. It`s high in sugar which spikes the blood sugar and then it dives and our bodies are crying out for more!
jenakers (52.2 days ago)According to Ohio`s WIC office. They say use 100% juice, like juicy juice. They said from 1-2 years old no more then 6ounces per day. They should drink milk more often then anything and some water. To much juice can lead to poor dental health, has to much sugar and a lack of calcuim (because they drink juice to often).
chasesmommy (52.2 days ago)there are certain jucies that are good for 1 yr and less. i really like juicy juice and what i did for mine since they also loved to drink all the time was put maybe 1-2oz juice and the rest water, that way they still get the juice but not as much and some juices can cause diarrhea and i`ve found this helps that. other times when they want a drink i just fill up the sippy cup with cold water. my oldest is 6 and i still dilute occasional drinks half and half and he doesn`t care and he loves water
~amy~ (52.2 days ago)My sister gives her 3-yr old juice but never the 1 yr old. It has way too much sugar in it. Water is the main thing she gives them with milk being used alot less often.
Andrea1222 (52.2 days ago)my son rarely drinks juice. i never let him drink it really because the pediatrician said its empty calories and its better for them to eat the real fruit itself. my son prefers water over all and then milk, its very seldom my son drinks juice, i think it mightbe too sweet for him too
jensay (52.3 days ago)i let my 10 month old have 2 oz of juice a day... i water it down do he gets a 4oz drink... when my 9 yr old was a toddler i would let him have 1 cup (6-8oz) of juice a day..today my 9 yr old might have 2 glasses of juice a day max... after thats its water or milk!
Juice is good but it does have a lot of calories that an fill a kid up :)
when i was watching my sisters kid i was shocked she was letting her 3 yr old drink alot of juice...i never did that with my kids... plus constantly drinking sugary drinks (even juice) is bad for the kids teeth!
