jensay (1233.9 days ago) 9 months old play with their food thats how they learn to eat! I wouldn`t always keep giving her more cause then it`ll be game... don`t make a huge issue of it or again she`ll do it for attention.. I know my son (10 months) likes to throw his bottle on the floor when hes in the high chair...I`ll get it a few times then i take it away if he keeps doing it,... i figure its a game at that point and he really doesn`t want it. I will say ` no dropping` if he does keep it up but not every time... I think if we use `no` to much at this age it looses its value!
TattooedMommyOf2 (1234 days ago) I think every baby throws their food on the floor. I swear I`m forever vacuuming up Cheerios!
mdbabyno1 (1234 days ago) Well I`m not sure if she is too young for this but the little 18 month old I nannied for would spit all her found out. It was disgusting and not acceptable in my book. The parents didn`t care at all. So one day when we were out at lunch I told her `here are your chicken nuggets. You do not spit them out of your mouth. You have to eat them or they are going to go bye bye.` Well what do you think she did with her first bite? It all came out. So I took them away and put them on the other side of the table. A few minutes later, I asked her if she wanted them and I told her the exact same thing again. She did it again so I took it away again. The time after that she got it and NEVER did it again when I was there(her parents where another story)
