emy (48.9 days ago)Everyone has discouraging moments. There are times when we all feel like we can`t possibly get up one more time to check on our babies. Parenting is exhausting. When you are having those moments, just concentrate on how blessed you are. I know I have really bad moments, I will just start crying for even getting mad at him. I feel so bad. I wouldn`t trade him for the world though
lisa-82 (49.3 days ago)i agree...i think its normal to have those thoughts...i know, as a single mom, things get so overwhelming and stressfull that it makes it even harder to not have a SO to lean on for support or to watch the baby just so you can run to the store...its all ME and its HARD AS HELL!!! but its also worth it and i wouldnt change it...but there are still `those time`.
1sttimemum2twins (49.5 days ago)Yes I feel that way sometimes, its really normal and am glad I`m not the only one. I have twins and although I wouldn`t change a thing, now I look back and can`t believe I was actually hoping it was twins lol! but it was my first pregnancy so I had no idea what it would be like! I love them so much though and they are the best thing I`ve ever done but also the hardest.
carla81 (49.6 days ago)It`s defiitely not wrong to feel that way sel22! We all (well, most of us) have moments when we feel so tired or we`ve had a bad day with a crying, screaming or fussy baby where we`ve thought, if not just for a split second, that we hadn`t chosen to get pregnant and could opt for the simple life that we once knew. Deep down you obviously don`t feel that way. It`s no different when you have an arguement with someone and you say things in the heat of the moment that you know you really don`t mean. I don`t think people are wrong for choosing the `no you evil cow option` because like jensay said, they were probably just repsonding to `no`, not so much the cow part. However, those who check the `bad mother for thinking that` option, they need to get a life and get a reality check. Or perhaps they really are just the most perfect people and perfect mothers out there. Oh, if only we were all perfect like them........that was sarcasm by the way! Don`t worry sel22, I`m sure you`re doing a fine job!
jensay (49.6 days ago)its true that all no options are really negative... some ppl might not have felt that way...Lets just hope ppl were just using the "no" part of the choices!
zenzabar (49.7 days ago)Well Kelli, I was one of the people to put `no you evil cow` I would have just put `no` but that wasn`t an option:o) I have never felt or wished I didn`t have my daughter. A friend of a close friend just lost her 6 week old to SIDS three weeks ago, so that makes me feel really lucky that my baby girl is a healthy and happy 9 month old. Maybe it is normal to feel that way, but I don`t feel that way.
jensay (49.7 days ago)well said kelli!! us moms shouldn't kick each other when we are down we should stick together
kelli (49.7 days ago)i wish the people who said you were an evil cow would have the balls to say who they are,
but thats why people put stuff like that on polls,
cause they know you can`t find out who they are.
shady bitches, if you ask me. haha
but no, your not a bad mother, and nobody has the right to say that. that`s just hipicritical. it`s NORMAL to think like that, and anyone who says something other wise is just lying. :)
jensay (49.7 days ago)I think its normal to have those feelings even more so with P.P depression
