alex76 (48.4 days ago)My daughter is nearly 3 but wears age 2 clothes but my son is 5 months and wears 6-9 months
~amy~ (48.8 days ago)My niece is 1 yr old and is wearing 18-20 month clothes.
MommySoon2bof3 (49 days ago)My kids were always wearing bigger months than they actually are, until my daughter was two then she started thinning down (I make chubby babies!
arkansastechmommy (49 days ago)lnl- It`s funny that you said that, because my son is 22 almost 23 months, and today, he has on a pair of blue jean shorts, 3-6 months from `the childrens place`! No lie...I`m sure when the women @ his daycare changed his diaper today, they thought we were nuts, but they still fit!!! ...They are the perfect length and everything! Of course he would never be able to do this with a pair of jeans, because they would be WAYYY to short... But the way I look at it... `if the shorts fit, wear them`! haha.... (that just popped in my head...)
Holly28 (49 days ago)My baby is long and skinny so I find that most clothes are huge on her. She is two months now but the 0-3months are still ginormous on her. I think she will be in them for a long while still.
lnlmommy (49.1 days ago)My daughter was still wearing a pair of 3-6 months shorts at 18 months!!!
TattooedMommyof2Soon (49.1 days ago)By the time my son was around 5-6 months old, he was wearing 9 months and for the past month or so he`s been wearing 18M clothes and he`s only 10 months old. He can still fit into some 12M things, but not very well. (My son was born @ 36weeks weighing 6lbs 5oz)
arkansastechmommy (49.1 days ago)It really just depends on the child. Every one is different. My son will be 2 November 10th, and he can still fit in 12 mo. shorts. We have to buy him 2t jeans (with an adjustable waist band) just because if we buy 12months...they are too short. he wears either 12month or 18 months tops, depending on the brand. BUT...he is almost in a size 8 shoe. lol.... He only weighs 25 pounds. The doc. said he is PERFECTLY healthy, just very tall and skinny. I used to ask about it everytime we went in, bc it used to worry me, but they reassured me several times..he was fine. It`s crazy...he eats 24/7, but is very active also...I guess that`s why he isn`t gaining much weight....
lol...I just told you my whole life story (j/k)....just thought I`d share...
cadesmommy (49.1 days ago)My son is 11 months and still wears 6-9 months. It really jsut varies by baby. At 11 months my kid still doesnt weight 20 pounds.
lisa-82 (49.2 days ago)TEXASTAMMY-LOL YOU JUST CONFIRMED THAT MY BABY IS BIG FOR HIS AGE! LOL HE`S 7MTHS (MONDAY) 27 INCHES LONG, AND WEIGHED 21 LBS AT HIS 6MTH APPT!
RobinG (49.2 days ago)Til a year old or so its typically double the age or add 3 months ~ newborns wear 0-3, 3 month olds wear 3-6 months, 6 months olds wear 6-9 months, 9 months wear 12 months, 12 months wear 18 etc etc. It is never a real match, even as bigger kids. It does get closer to age is size when they are about 2-3 years old. :)
TexasTammy (49.2 days ago)My daughter (who is 9) was always right on with her size and the clothing sizes. My son (9 months) is bigger than the sizes. He`s wearing 12 mos now and they are beginning to get tight. Within the next couple of months, I`ll be moving him into the 18month size. He`s very average in his size too. 9 mos, he weighs 20lbs, and 28 inches long. - pretty average size.
lisa-82 (49.2 days ago)OK LET ME JUST SAY THAT MY LIL MAN IS BIG FOR HIS AGE..IN FACT I THINK I RECALL THE NURSE AT HIS PED. SAYING HE`S BIG FOR HIS AGE...=) BUT HE`S SOLID!!!
monkeymamma (49.2 days ago)My little man is 4 months and can fit into 0-3 still if it`s a two piece set. Everything else is 3-6 month.
